This adaptable garden room was created in collaboration with Kinetic Living; combining functionality, flexibility, and playful kinetic design. One side of the structure serves as a fully equipped office, providing a quiet, light-filled workspace. With a simple, efficient motion, the room transforms into a fully functioning bar; revealing custom storage and serving areas designed to the client’s specific requirements. The project demonstrates how kinetic adaptable architecture can maximise the use of limited space while enhancing user experience.

The kinetic mechanism allows the space to shift effortlessly between office and bar; offering both practical efficiency and pleasurable interaction. Materials, detailing, and proportions were carefully considered to ensure the movement is smooth, safe, and visually cohesive. The project balances technical precision with aesthetic quality, showing how adaptability can be embedded directly into architectural form without compromising style or usability.

Every element, from storage compartments to seating arrangements, was designed specifically for the client’s needs. The design creates a space that is simultaneously a productive outdoor office and an entertaining social venue; illustrating how adaptable garden structures and kinetic architecture can respond to changing lifestyle demands, enhancing both day-to-day work and leisure.
